Let’s talk about guilt…
Do you feel guilty when you take time for yourself? (👆this video is an excerpt from last week’s webinar…every person on the call admitted that they have felt GUILTY for taking steps towards their self-care)
The guilty feelings are the “shoulds” that we assign ourselves in life. We “should” be feeding someone else/working/cleaning. But truly, where does this guilt ultimately originate from? There may be external factors but we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE the guilty story.
✅Guilty feelings ❌ Lack of self-care ✅ Disease
Disease doesn’t have to look like cancer. Being out of balance (aka disease) can show up as:
Feeling fearful about the future
Being unmotivated + stuck to your couch
Feeling foggy or unclear about “what next?”
Feeling apathetic
Ask yourself, how do you want to show up in this life?
❌Angry. Feeling stuck in life, unhappy…having no clue where to go?
OR
✅Walking through life with purpose.
✅Thriving in the midst of adversity.
Self-care is simple, but it gets complicated after we spend years of not paying attention to what our body needs. The guilty feelings prevent us from showing up FULLY to ourselves, family, partner, and community. ✨WE NEED YOU!✨
